What's happening?

Join us for a special presentation by Dave DeSandro. Dave is making a video game! Okay, maybe not, but he is making a 3D graphics library. Actually, not really, but he is definitely making lots of demos. Join us to watch Dave share his work-in-progress and discuss the agony and ecstasy of being a creative developer

About the presenter: Dave DeSandro is the author of widely-used JavaScript plugins Masonry, Isotope, and Flickity. You can also thank (or jeer) Dave for the draggable panels in the CodePen editor. He runs Metafizzy, his one-man company, where supports commercial open-source plugins and logo design.

After Dave presents we will have show and tell, so feel free to present your wonderful pens! Since the doors open at 5:30PM we will start promptly at 6PM, sorry for the change in routine :O There could be more special guests at this event :D

Let there be code, fun and friendship!

The night will be split in two: Talks and Open computer.

Talks start at 7pm. Drinks and networking from 8pm to 10pm.

Admittance is free but registration is mandatory as seating is limited.
CodePen membership is not required.

  • Stephanie Vilayphiou is a young artist and designer investigating how software deeply questions the fixity of the printed page and the whole defensive and historically consolidated copyright practices.
  • Louis Hoebregts is a frontend developer at Base Design and teaches Generative Design at the Haute École Albert Jacquard.
