In the previous episode, we talked about how we received a DDoS threat, and how our reaction was to beef up our infrastructure rather than pay. Turns out, as we also guessed, the threat was empty. We were well aware it could be, but also knew the beefing up would be worth it for all CodePen users. One of the ingredients to fending off these potential attacks was getting on a CDN. Kind of a no-brainer for most apps, but we were dragging our feet on it. We went with Cloudflare, and this podcast is all about that.

  • I really appreciate that you all take the time to share inside information about how you solve problems in the development and management of CodePen.io. This stuff is really interesting to me.
