Asset Hosting is a PRO feature
If your PRO subscription ends, you will lose access to the Asset Manager and asset editing features. Your assets will not be accessible from outside of CodePen.
Any assets that are included in Pens will still load in those Pens. Your assets are not deleted at the end of your subscription. If you resume your subscription you’ll be able to use all of the asset hosting features again.

Bandwidth
There’s no limit to how often your asset file can be viewed or accessed from within a Pen. If your Pen goes viral, or your Pen with an asset file gets forked thousands of times, your asset will load, no problem.
With that said, we do not recommend using your asset hosting as a CDN for websites outside of CodePen. Our firewall and DDoS protection treats file requests from outside of CodePen differently. If you link up one of your assets on a website that suddenly gets millions of hits, that could trigger our DDoS protection, which would limit access to the file.
Disallowed Files
All uploaded files must adhere to our Terms of Service and Code of Conduct. We also block .exe files as they can be quite nefarious and there is no practical use of those on the web anyway.
