Your Work is the home of all of your Pens and Collections. Here you can jump back into your latest work, search all of your content, and manage recently-deleted items.
Your Work is in context — if you’re on a PRO Team, Your Work displays team work while you are in team context. If you are in personal context, you will see your personal work in Your Work.
The Create Tab
Continue Recent Work
The last 4 things you were working on are right at the top of the Create tab.
Templates
Quick start a new Pen from a Template. There are 4 template filter options on the Create tab:
- Bookmarked: Templates from your Bookmarks
- Personal: Templates you made
- Team: If you’re on a PRO Team, these are templates you and your teammates made in team context
- Official: Templates built by Team CodePen
Pens and Collections Tabs
You can search and sort your Pens and Collections under the Pens and Collections tabs of Your Work.
Note: The search box under each tab in Your Work is scoped to your content only. If you want to search all of CodePen, use the “Search CodePen” search box at the top of the page.
Pen Search
The search box under the Pens tab searches Pen titles and descriptions. Use quotes for exact phrases: “rainbow loader”. Using a dash against a term will (attempt) to exclude results that include it: “layout -grid”
Pen Filters
Click the “Filters” button under the Pens tab to narrow down what’s shown on the Pens tab.
Privacy: CodePen PRO members can create Private Pens. The privacy filter lets you scope your search to Public or Private Pens. Private Pens can be filtered further to only include Password Protected or Collaborators Only Pens.
Template: Use this filter to only show templates with the “Template” option, or exclude templates with “Not Template”.
Fork: Show only forked Pens by selecting the “Fork” option, or exclude forks with “Not Forked”.
Deployed: Use this filter to only show your Deployed Pens with the “Deployed” option, or exclude deployed Pens with “Not Deployed”.
Tag Filter: Filter your Pens by tag clicking the “Tag” button. Start typing in a tag name to search the list, or scroll to find your tag.
Collection Search & Filter
Use the search box under the Collections tab to search the titles and descriptions of your Collections. CodePen PRO members can also use the Privacy filter to display only private Collections, or exclude them.
Deleted Tab
If you delete a Pen by mistake, you can recover it within 3 days on your Deleted tab. If you need to ensure that a Pen is completely deleted before then, you can permanently delete it from your Deleted tab. Learn more about how deleting content works on CodePen in our Deleting documentation.
