Heads up! This blog post hasn't been updated in over 2 years. CodePen is an ever changing place, so if this post references features, you're probably better off checking the docs. Get in touch with support if you have further questions.

I’m a big fan of Judith Neumann’s work here on CodePen. Her Pens are whimsical and just so full of life! She is a master of pure-CSS illustration. So naturally I was very excited to see her talent showcased in a new digital children’s book, ABCD Animal Book.

Judith collaborated with her fellow CodePen CSS superstar Fabio G. Arranz on the project. The book features also the work of a few other CodePen luminaries, including Gregor Adams’ amazing octopus and Mr. Alien’s sweet toy train.

Check out the Pens for a few of my very favorite illustrations:

The whole book is an open-source project, and you can share it with your favorite kiddo on just about any web-enabled device.
