Heads up! This blog post hasn't been updated in over 2 years. CodePen is an ever changing place, so if this post references features, you're probably better off checking the docs. Get in touch with support if you have further questions.
When you post a job to the CodePen Job Board, we require you to have an account. That allows you to come back at any time to edit the posting, take it down (like if you filled the position!), or renew it.
We used to require you to log in (or sign up) before you could even see the page where you can post a job. Quite a barrier.
We fixed that up so anybody can see what it's like to post a job even while logged out. That way anybody can see pricing and get a feel for what is required to post a job.
At the bottom of the form, you can log into an existing account or sign up for a free account right there. This was made possible from a bunch of work by Rachel and Alex, and related to that thing where we allow people to sign up while saving an anonymous Pen. Yay for re-usable development work!
